The week of November 16- 22 is Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). The GEW is the “world's celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.”

This year TWB has been selected to be one of the GEW partners. We managed to host a baking demonstration (entitled imbaraga z'imigati) to our local community on how to bake delicious and nutritious bread.

Over a hundred and twenty (120) of the neighborhood’s women, men and children attended the event and observed and practiced how to make bread. The local women were very impressed on how locally found ingredients like banana, peanuts and soya can make such a delicious and nutritious bread. They keenly wrote down the recipes and are now ready to make their own breads in their families!

TWB owes a huge thanks to the Idea for Africa for helping us organize this event and make it a success. #breadpower
