The Buwea Women’s Bakery is officially in business!
Five women walked out of the Buwea bakery on Friday morning proudly carrying their products for sale, and within just one hour and inside of a quarter mile radius, they were completely sold out!

Week in Review
Our third full week of TWB training here in Bukoba, Tanzania was quite a full one. The week started out, quite literally, with a dance party!
Training Begins!
On February 17, TWB launched its official bakery training in Bukoba, Tanzania with BUWEA (Bukoba Women’s Empowerment Association), a local women’s co-op with over 450 members throughout the region.
